Christ Our Light required a major redesign and renewal of their worship space.  The existing space was extremely dark, with poor acoustics, no gathering space, and a Sanctuary that seemed more like a play house stage rather than the house of worship it is.  

 

The new design pulls the Sanctuary to the center of the space with the congregation and choir wrapping around it to create a sense of communal worship.   A dedicated gathering space was created with a structural glazed wall allowing for acoustical separation with a visually open plan.  An energy efficient LED lighting system and four clerestory windows were installed to flood the space with light.  The dated finishes were upgraded throughout and included linear wood ceiling and ceramic tile flooring.
